MMH Week – Sleep Deprivation and Mental Health

Welcome to our  “More than Sleep” show!

I want you all to know this is a safe space- ask me anything and lets talk about all things motherhood.

You can find us Monday’s and Wednesdays at 9:30 am MST. Maybe the baby is sleeping? Tune in.. and tune in if he’s not and maybe we can help!

This week is Maternal Mental Health Week. Join me today to talk about the impact sleep deprivation has on mental health!

If your baby has poor sleep habits you may be rocking, bouncing, and feeding them until 11 pm at night so they fall asleep just to wake up at 1 am again to feed, night after night…

Let me tell you… this is not sustainable! There is no way that the sleep deprived you is functioning at their best, plus it’s not healthy for you! You owe it to yourself to take some time out for you.

By teaching your little one sleep skills you can take back your evenings to unwind or just go to bed early to get some well deserved rest! If your babe is consistently going to bed at 7 pm, think of all the extra time that gives you!

You got this mama!

If you’re not sure where to start or need help teaching your babe the sleep skills they need, please always feel free to reach out to a Mama Coach in your area. We’re here to help.
